About BattleHorizont

Australia's home for passionate gamers, honest reviews, and world-class esports coverage.

Who We Are

BattleHorizont was founded in 2020 by a group of Australian gamers who were frustrated by the lack of locally focused, unbiased game coverage. We set out to build a platform that speaks directly to the Australian gaming community — covering the titles, tournaments, and topics that matter most to players across the country.

Today, BattleHorizont is home to a team of dedicated writers, analysts, and esports enthusiasts spread across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide. We cover everything from AAA blockbusters to indie gems, and from local LAN events to international championships with Australian representation.

Our reviews are written by real players who put in the hours. Our tournament coverage is on-the-ground, not just press releases. And our community is at the heart of everything we do.

Editorial Standards

At BattleHorizont, editorial independence is non-negotiable. Our reviews are never influenced by developers, publishers, or advertisers. Every score reflects the genuine opinion of our reviewers, based on extended playtime and thorough analysis.

We disclose all review copies received from publishers and clearly label any sponsored content. Our tournament coverage is similarly independent — we report on events as journalists, not promoters.
